HONY SOAPSTone

The website Humans of New York showcases the the works of photographer Brandon Stanton, as he moves through New York and later much else of the world taking photos of citizens and posting blurbs of their lives. The blurbs them selves usually consist of small life stories, ranging from humorous, to tragic, to heart-warming. Though the original purpose seemed to be only to entertain readers, it seems now that it is to educate them of about the people they share their home, Earth, with. The once blog strives to illuminate the diversity in the world, and take down chapters from all walks of life. Though the photos all share a similar atmosphere to them, the writings are wildly different, as the people telling them are. Humans of New York captures what could be described as the human race in a website, the diversity, the interest, and even the mundane.
